The Tier 2 (General) visa was renamed the Skilled Worker visa in December 2020, when the UK moved to its post-Brexit points-based immigration system. It's the same sponsorship route under a new name — every company that held a Tier 2 licence had it automatically converted to a Skilled Worker licence, and no separate "Tier 2 register" exists any more.
