Skilled Worker (Tier 2) Visa Sponsors UK
121,961 UK companies hold a Skilled Worker sponsor licence — also known as the Tier 2 sponsor list, its official name before December 2020. Data sourced from the official GOV.UK register of licensed sponsors.
Tier 2 Sponsor List: What Changed
The Tier 2 (General) visa was renamed the Skilled Worker visa in December 2020, when the UK moved to its post-Brexit points-based immigration system. It's the same sponsorship route under a new name — every company that held a Tier 2 licence had it automatically converted to a Skilled Worker licence, and no separate "Tier 2 register" exists any more.
That means this page — the Skilled Worker sponsor list below — is the current, up-to-date equivalent of what recruiters, job adverts, and candidates still often call the "Tier 2 sponsor list".
